Good news for Avélian students
Avélie has some good news for students who will graduate this year at the UCA of Avélie.
The government will offer extra tuition for mental health. It is something that has been on the table for a long time, and they finally came to a decision.
The students had a rough year due to the miserable covid situation. Not only physically, but also mentally. Mental health is something that is underestimated, and the Avélian government wants to do something about it. They want to listen to the students who have suffered and offer them the maximum help to complete their studies.
What does this offer include?

From now on, psychologists will be available for 2AVA per session. They will be able to talk about anything that is on their mind. This can go from personal problems to school problems for example home environment difficulties, anxiety, break-ups, deadlines. Besides that, there will be a student facility that will check your documents. They will find out whether you are entitled to a state grant or not. This grant can be used to pay for school materials, schoolbooks and so on.
HELP! I’m scared

As a country we know it is not easy for students to open up about their feelings to people they don’t know. That is why we have professionals who are sworn into professional secrecy. We want to encourage the students to make use of this offer as much as possible. We want to remind our students that mental health is as important as physical health. That, is what our motto is all about. Dare to speak!
