AVACITY BICYCLES
The AvaCity Bicycles are bicycles that can be used by the entire population of Avélie. It’s just a call or registration away. We rent them as a leisure product so people can enjoy the view while cycling around. Since our population mainly consists of seniors over 60 years old, we want to keep them moving because it’s important to use your body at an older age.
There are different types of bicycles. Each one is beneficial for a specific target group. There will be bicycles with four wheels for people with balance disorders or seats with a higher back support for keeping your back straight and in good condition. Even the pedals will be different on some bikes.
Product
The bicycles are available in Avalon and the surrounding areas. By calling the number written on the bike or following the instructions on the website, you will receive a code with which you can unlock the bike. There is a time limit, but it depends on the period that you have selected. If you don’t return the bike on time, a fine will be imposed.
Place
Promotion
The promotion strategy we want to define is online and offline advertising. We will mainly focus on the TV, newspapers and magazines. The reason for that is that seniors mostly watch TV or read in their free time.
The price depends on how much time you spend bicycling. Two hours of renting equals 0.50 Ava. It is not advantageous in terms of income, but it is profitable in terms of the climate and reducing pollution.
